She’s back!!! Corinne Bailey Rae has a new song out titled Been To The Moon.
Where is Corinne Bailey Rae? I love her music. Anyway one of my favorite Corinne songs is Put Your Records On. Put Your Records On was released in 2006 and is from Corinne’s debut cd Corinne Bailey Rae.
At first I thought I was seeing things. I thought the Yahoo headline said Corinne Bailey Rae found dead and my heart started pounding. This young lady is one of my favorite singers. But after my eyes cleared up from sitting under the hair dryer for 45 minutes, I read it correctly. Her husband, Jason Rae, was found dead from an apparent drug overdose. They had been married since 2001.
An article in the Daily Mail stated that Jason had a drug problem and that he partied alot. He seems so totally opposite of her quiet demeanor.

The husband of soul singer Corinne Bailey Rae has died after a suspected drugs overdose.
Police found Jason Rae’s body after being called to his home in Leeds.
It is not known whether his wife, who is best known for the hit Put Your Records On, was with him when he died.
Officers arrested a 32-year-old man on suspicion of drug dealing.
According to friends, Mr Rae, 31, was known to have addiction problems.
“He partied a lot and had struggled with drugs for years,” said one.
He met his wife in a jazz club and they married in 2001, well before her rise to fame.
Mr Rae, who was found dead on Saturday afternoon, played the saxophone and was due to perform with his jazz band, the Haggis Horns – who have worked as a backing act for Amy Winehouse – last night.
His 29-year-old wife maintains a clean-cut image that is rare in the music industry.
I can’t imagine what Corinne’s going through right now. My prayers go out to Corinne and the Rae family.
