Caracal by Disclosure

Disclosure’s Caracal cd is finally out and I’m loving it.

I’ve been listening to it all weekend. I’m not gonna say it’s better than their debut cd Settle but it’s still very good. Of course my faves include Holding On with Gregory Porter, Omen with Sam Smith, Superego featuring Nao and Willing and Able featuring Kwabs. Other songs include Nocturnal featuring The Weekend, Hourglass featuring Lionbabe, Magnets featuring Lorde and Molecules.

Lionbabe is a duo featuring Jillian Hervey and Lucas Goodman.

So who is Jillian Hervey? She’s the daughter of former Miss America Vanessa Williams.

There are several versions of Caracal. There’s the standard version with only 11 songs.  Molecules, Moving Mountains and Afterthought aren’t available on the standard version.  There’s the deluxe version with 14 songs on Amazon. Then there’s the deluxe version on itunes with 15 songs. The extra song is Bang That which isn’t available on the Amazon version right now.  There’s also the Target version which features a demo version of Holding On and a remix of Bang That.

Check out the video below to get a sample of what Caracal is all about.

Or you can check out their music at itunes and Spotify.

Here’s the audio version of Disclosure featuring Gregory Porter’s Holding On.
