A Suitland, Maryland woman recently died from a botched cosmetic procedure performed by an unlicensed plastic surgeon.
Thirty-four-year old BET employee Kelly Mayhew was found unresponsive in a Queens, New York home on Saturday May 30 after receiving silicone injections in her buttocks. Ms. Mayhew was accompanied by her mother for the procedure. The doctor fled after the victim’s mother demanded that he call 911.
A Maryland woman who worked at BET in the District has died after undergoing a cosmetic procedure from an unlicensed plastic surgeon to enlarge her buttocks, according to media reports.
Kelly Mayhew, 34, of Suitland, Maryland, was found unresponsive in a Queens, New York home Saturday after she received a cosmetic procedure there, investigators from the New York Police Department told WNBC in New York.
Mayhew’s final post on Facebook was a photo of Minaj and Beyoncé. “Love,” reads the caption.
Her Facebook page also features a collage of pictures showing off her curves.
“Brains Beauty Boobs and Booty!” reads the caption.
Mayhew’s mother told police her daughter was healthy and had five previous butt enhancements.
Sources said Mayhew’s fatal procedure was organized by a family friend.
Mayhew’s mother, sometime after the suspect fled, tried to call the person who set up the appointment but couldn’t reach her. The pal later wiped her social media account clean, sources said.
No disrespect to the deceased and her family but I can’t believe her mother didn’t have a problem with her daughter having five previous butt enhancements. Was trying to look like Nicki Minaj that important Ms. Mayhew?
