Michael McDonald & The Doobie Brothers

For some reason I went into a Doobie Brothers music marathon this week.  It started with my mp3 player.  Takin’ It To The Streets came on and that was it for me.  I went into full Doobie Brothers mode.  I was either listening to the Doobie Brothers and Michael McDonald on my gigabeat or I had my cd’s playing at work.  I’ve been a Doobie Brothers fan since the 70’s.  Check out the hit Takin’ It To the Streets.

You can’t talk about the Doobie Brothers without talking about the soulful Michael McDonald.  Michael joined the Doobie Brothers in 1975.  After the group officially broke up in 1982, Michael had a successful solo career.  One of his best solo hits was I Keep Forgettin’.
