Anyone remember the 1976 Montreal Olympics?  I do!!  One competition in particular has been on my mind since I’ve been watching the Beijing Olympics.  There was an American athlete named Edwin Moses, a student at Morehouse College, who competed in the 400 meter hurdles. 

Check out this video.  Talk about bringing back some memories.  I haven’t seen this competition since I watched it back in 1976.

Edwin won the gold medal in the 400 meter hurdles. His fellow American teammate Michael Shine won the silver medal.
