Former New York Lt. Governor David A. Paterson was sworn in as Governor of New York today. Governor Paterson is the first black governor and first legally blind governor of New York.
After the Eliot Spitzer sex scandal, Spitzer resigned as governor last week.

Eight West Virginia women may be holding the winning ticket to Saturday’s $276 million dollar Powerball jackpot.
