Talk about back in time. Lisa Stansfield’s debut cd Affection was released in the United States in 1990. This cd is awesome. With less than a handful of exceptions Lisa puts today’s female r&b and pop music artists to shame. Girlfriend can sang!!!!!! That’s right, I said sang!!!!

Los Angeles Times columnist Joel Stein has an interesting column on how Hollywood has already introduced us to black presidents. Dennis Haysbert in the tv series 24 and Morgan Freeman in the movie Deep Impact come to mind.

I was saddened by the story about the four sisters who were found dead in Southeast D.C. on Wednesday.
Thirty three year old Banita Jacks has been accused of murdering her four daughters. She claimed they were possessed by demons. Sounds like Banita was the one who was possessed by demons, not those innocent [...]
